The Conscious Turtle is a boutique massage therapy studio located in the heart of downtown Murphys, California. Established in February 2009, we have an array of offerings for you to choose from. We use only organic and natural lotions, oils, wraps and scrubs. All treatments are customized to each clients individuals needs. Our goal is for each client to have a unique personal experience, to feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and balanced to your authentic rhythm and state of well being. All sessions include a pre and post consultation and are designed specifically for your individual needs.

Your Therapist
Maura Grant is a Certified Massage Therapist with over 13 years of experience. Originally from Wisconsin, Maura worked for corporate 500 companies for almost 2 decades, in Houston, Texas and the San Francisco Bay Area. Maura left the corporate world to fulfill her dream of working in the healing arts.

She enrolled in The National Holistic Institute in Berkeley, California where she completed 750 hours of education and training. She graduated top in her class in 1998 and opened her first massage studio in Berkeley while she was still in school. After graduation she was hired by The National Holistic Institute as part of their training staff working to further develop graduates. In Berkeley she had a wide range of clients including amateur body builders and athletes. Maura opened the Conscious Turtle in Murphys, California in February of 2009.
